Khenmo Pasang Doma Sherpa joined Tsogyal Shedrubling Nunnery in 1995. She graduated from a nine-year course in Higher Buddhist Philosophy in the year 2007. The degree of Higher Secondary, B.A. and M.A. are included in that Nine Year Course.
She has shown a good result in the Academic session. She has thoroughly studied, researched and mastered the vast of profound higher teaching in Buddhism that covers both Sutra and Tantra as well as the common studies, such as Poetry, Astrology, Temporal and capacity to be responded by all the Buddhist Institutes and Universities.
After the completion of her Buddhist studies in 2007, she became a Lopon (Ācāryā) and was assigned as a teacher at Arya Tara School Pharping Nepal. She had worked as an Accountant in the Nunnery for two years and as a Treasurer for one year.
She also received many empowerments and oral transmissions of Nyingmapa Lineage from great masters of the century like H.H. Penor Rinpoche, H.H. Tsetrul Rinpoche, H.H. Karma Kuchen Rinpoche, H.H. Trulku Thubzang Rinpoche etc.
She is now the senator of Lumbini Buddhist University and treasurer of the Nepal Buddhist Nyingma Association.
