Khenmo Dolgar Ghale was born on May 20, 1980. She studied in a boarding school till 1994 after that she became a nun in the year 1995 at Namdroling Monastery (Tsogyal Shedrubling Nunnery). She had learned various rituals, rites, and activities there. She has got major empowerment and Nyingma’s teaching from the well-known masters of this century. In the year 1999, she enrolled in Ngagyur Shedrub Dhargeling Institute, where she studied debate and research on Buddhist Philosophy and practiced for nine years. She also received Ngondro (Preliminary Practice), Tsalung (Winds and Channels) and Dzogchen (Great Perfection) teachings.
After the completion of her Higher Buddhist studies in 2008, she became a Lopen and she thereafter engaged in propagating the teachings. In 2009, she served the post of a lecturer at the Ngagyur Tsogyal Shedrup Dhargeling Institute. She was given the degree certificate of the Master of Buddhist Philosophy in 2010. After receiving her Master’s Degree, she took care of teachings in Buddhist Philosophy and also had been examined by the controller of the Nunnery school.
In addition, she taught Buddhist Philosophy at Nunnery in Mustang, Nepal in 2013 and thereafter she taught at Pema Gyatsaling Choeling School, Gagal Phedi in 2014. She has been doing humanitarian work in the Nepal Buddhist Nyingma Association since 2015. She is also an executive board member of the Nepal Buddhist Nyingma Association, Nepal Palyul Buddhist Society in 2017. She has served as a Vice Chairman of the Penor Rinpoche Buddhist Society as well.
