Khenmo Dolma Tsering was born in 1988. At the age of 7, she took refuge with His Holiness Penor Rinpoche in Bodhgaya, India. She had ordained Ani (nun) in Ngagyur Nyingma Nunnery, which was founded by Drubwang Padma Norbu Rinpoche to give equal opportunity to women in the study and practice of Dharma in 1993 A.D. There she started studying the basic Tibetan grammar and Buddhist teachings. She also honed Dharma Instruments, Tibetan Prayers, Torma Making, and Various Offering Ordinances in the nunnery.
In 2007, she completed her Higher Secondary in Tibetan Buddhism. During the higher secondary level, she worked as a Chanting Master for 3 years. In 2009, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Tibetan Buddhism. In 2012, she completed her Master’s Degree in Tibetan Buddhism. She carried out her own studies, she had taught college students for 2 years. She also taught in Tharpa Choeling Nunnery, Nepal in 2013.
She had worked as a teacher at Karma Samtenling Nunnery in Nepal. During her teaching period, she enrolled in the teacher training held by Ngagyur Nyingma Institute in 2015 and was awarded the corresponding certificate. Afterwards, she hit the road to learn the Chinese Language in Shenzhen (China) for one and a half years. She had the privilege to work with H.H. Karmapa in Bodh Gaya. She became the president of the Nepal Buddhist Lotus Nun Association in 2017. She has likewise gained experience in the Nepal Buddhist Nyingma Association and Palyul Society as a member.
